Full-Time Apprenticeship Job Vacancy

Position Title: Customer Service Apprentice - CLOSED

Location: Twickenham TW1
Special Note: All applicants should live within the local travel to work area. 45 minutes maximum travel time.

Pay: £150 per week with six-monthly pay reviews

Qualification: NVQ Level 2 Customer Service

Duration: Full-time 12 Month contract

Employer Description: Jewellery and Gift Shop

Hours of Work: 9.30 a.m. – 5.30 p.m. (Mon – Fri) with 1 hour for lunch. (Including 1 Saturday per month)

Annual Holiday Entitlement: 20 days paid holiday per year plus statutory days to be taken outside of term time

Age: 16 +

Check and price delivered stock, and separate for distribution to other stores
Maintain a clean tidy shop and displays
Learning about the products sold, and learning to deal with customers
Recording customer enquiries and orders then follow up to completion
Being aware of stock levels and notify manager if required
Recycling jewellery and assisting in the production of new designs for sale
Eventually handling cash sales, and processing credit and debit card transactions
Eventually serving customers and dressing window displays
Maintaining security, and awareness of health and safety regulations

An ability to complete a complex & demanding learning programme with external examinations is a requirement for Way to Work vacancies

Good communication skills with clear spoken English
Good knowledge of customer care, able to deal professionally with customers.
Able to work flexibly within a team, asking for & giving support when needed
Good presentation with a well groomed appearance
Able to learn to use own initiative
Able to follow procedures & work to deadlines

Able to understand the importance of being punctual and the impact that absence has on the effectiveness of the team
